Remaja Chef Challenge at SMKA Sheikh Abdul Malek

12 August 2026, Wednesday – SMKA Sheikh Abdul Malek, Kuala Terengganu, was selected as the final destination for the Remaja Chef Challenge organised by Rempah Cap Bunga Rose. A total of 14 teams comprising students from Forms 1 to 4 took part in the challenge, providing Rempah Cap Bunga Rose with an opportunity to witness the culinary talents and cooking skills of students from a religious secondary school.

The championship title was awarded to Nur Aisyah Sorfina binti Mohd Basri and Nur Farah Damia binti Mohd Faizal for their dish, Sweet and Sour Fish, prepared using Pes Mee Goreng Udang Cap Bunga Rose.

The runner-up position went to Muqri Fahmi bin Ros Hasdi and Muhammad Ikhwan Zikri bin Saifur, who prepared Fish Curry using Pes Gulai Ayam Cap Bunga Rose. Meanwhile, third place was secured by Nur Aqilah Nadirah binti Mohd Arif and Nor Husna Syazwani binti Sulaiman.

The competition demonstrated that students of SMKA Sheikh Abdul Malek excel not only academically but also in culinary skills and creativity in preparing dishes.

Rempah Cap Bunga Rose believes that every student possesses unique talents and potential that can be nurtured through continuous training, guidance and support.
